Lesson in architecture

Right next to this beautiful reef protected beach, is a surfing beach, which has been hit hard with some rough winter surf and so it is lined with tree debris.
This gorgeous auntie here, being a very talented architect by profession, saw this as a great opportunity to teach the boys all about building structures. And so they set out to build various structures, which kept Rylan preoccupied the entire afternoon on the beach today. Here is the first project completed:
Choosing his wood pieces.
The basic frame of the structure.
Then they built a series of caves, which the kids had a blast in.
Needless to say they both fell asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows tonight!
