Smart globe and learning world geography

Some of you may have noticed a picture of this globe under the heading "Kiddos enjoying right now" on my right sidebar...I have been meaning to post about this amazing little piece of technology. Ramtin and I were looking for a globe to invest in for our homeschool, when we came across the Oregon Scientific Smart Globe, and decided it was a must for Rylan's birthday. It has not disappointed! It is a very fun educational "toy", with a whole host of activities and quizzes (one of which Rylan is doing in the picture below), and you can download all kinds of additional and/or updated information. Rylan loves working with it, and hey, as a bonus, I have learnt a whole bunch of info too! :)Today we also enjoyed the almost full moon from our lanai (porch), and the perfectly lovely weather we are having right now...
